Healing Touch Training Class Offered by The Cancer Center
August 8, 2011

The Cancer Center at Kishwaukee Community Hospital is presenting a two-session, Level I Healing Touch Training Program for health professionals on Saturdays, Oct. 22 and 29, from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. in Kish Hospital’s Roberts Conference Center.

Healing Touch is a complementary (or integrative) energy therapy used in conjunction with traditional therapies in which practitioners consciously use their hands in a heart-centered and intentional way to support and facilitate physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual health. The Level I class allows a person to develop basic concepts and skills in healing touch through personal growth. The cost to participate is $340 per person for registration before Oct. 1, $365 for registration after Oct. 1. If more than 10 participants enroll, the cost will be lowered to $250. Continuing education units (CEU’s) are available for this course.
